Just had my second visit to Dr. Upton. On my first visit, Dr. and his assistant, Jessica, did a thorough evaluation of my situation. He asked me questions about my dental history and actually listened carefully to my concerns. Then he left to review my x-rays and options for treatment. When he returned, he gave me some options, which I REALLY appreciated. He even took into consideration my dietary habits and the fact I don't like prescription medications. Not even my physicians gave me that kind of concern!! Today I had my tooth pulled out and he took into consideration my financial situation and did it under local anesthesia, where my previous experience was done under general anesthesia. It was less expensive and totally tolerable. I'm glad that he considers the whole patient, the tolerance to pain, the budget and the treatment preferences. I also appreciate that he sat on a stool and spoke to me face to face. His office staff, Jessica, Megan and Priscilla are all equally attentive and considerate. Thank you everyone 💓! Yes, I would recommend their services to anyone in need of dental care.

I’m thankful that I found this dental practice. From the staff, upfront, to the dental assistant Kelly, and Dr. Baker, they have been absolutely wonderful. After having had previous experiences that were not ideal, I was reluctant to find a new dentist that I could trust. I read all the five star reviews for Upton & Baker and tried it out for myself, very happy that I did as they make you feel right at home. Dr. Baker is absolutely wonderful and fantastic and I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s Very professional and skilled, top to bottom. Cannot recommend him more highly. Dr. Baker is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what’s going on so there are no surprises. Very calming, as well. Thank you!!

This was by far the best dental visit I have had in years. Priscilla was great assisting me with getting my appointment booked and offering me an earlier appointment when one came available. Bonnie was AMAZING!! She went very in depth in my cleaning and took the time to help me understand what she was doing and the benefits of each step, no dentist has ever taken the time to help me understand more about my gums and teeth like she did...very educational! Doctor Kevin Upton was great too, he is very friendly and personable. Will be booking all of my dentist appointments with them from now on. 10/10

    Transforming Smiles, Transforming Lives

Choosing veneers is a transformative experience that extends well beyond dental aesthetics. It’s about instilling a sense of confidence and happiness that shines through in all life’s facets. Reflect on the moments you’ve held back due to smile insecurities. Our mission is to guide you towards your ideal smile, enabling you to confidently step into various life scenarios:

    • Capturing joyful moments in photographs with loved ones.
    • Being the radiant star at important celebrations.
    • Celebrating milestones of friends and family with confidence.
    • Leaving a lasting, positive impression in professional encounters.
    • Experiencing the excitement of a first date with confidence. With our expertise, we’ll help you develop a smile that you’ll be eager to display, no matter the situation or the company you’re in.

Getting Veneers Is Simple And Easy

Before beginning, we’re eager to understand your motivations and objectives for improving your teeth. Our priority is to confirm that veneers are the ideal choice for your smile aspirations. To guarantee the best results, we might suggest a preliminary treatment plan to optimize your gum health. This approach ensures that your veneers are supported by a robust and healthy foundation.

    Preparing The Teeth

To accommodate the veneer, we gently remove a small layer of enamel from the front surface of your tooth. Rest assured, we’ll numb the area for your comfort, and the amount of enamel removed is minimal. Following this, we’ll create an impression of your prepared tooth and its adjacent teeth, ensuring your veneer fits seamlessly and complements your smile.

    Creation And Placement

While your permanent veneers are being crafted, a temporary veneer will be fitted for your convenience and comfort. When your custom veneers are complete, we’ll gently remove the temporary ones and securely affix the permanent veneers in place. With some final adjustments and a polish, your smile will be all set to shine brilliantly.

    Caring For Your Veneers

Upon receiving your new veneers, we’ll provide you with comprehensive guidelines on how to maintain them effectively. It’s important to treat your veneers as you would your natural teeth, ensuring they look and feel great. Regular brushing, flossing, and attending routine dental cleanings and checkups are essential. With diligent care, you can expect your veneers to last a decade or longer.

    Contact us today

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

The Cost Of Veneers In Wake Forest

The cost of dental veneers varies greatly depending on individual circumstances. Typically, with insurance, a single veneer might cost between $200 and $600 or more. Without insurance, you can expect a starting price range of approximately $800 to $1200 and above for a veneer.

Several factors influence the price of veneers, including:

    • The number of veneers required.
    • The extent of preparation and application work involved.
    • The type of veneers chosen.
    • Your specific aesthetic goals for your smile.

It’s important to note that accurate pricing cannot be provided over the phone. Every person’s dental needs and desires are unique, much like their smile. A consultation and oral examination with a dentist are essential to explore all treatment options and receive a precise cost estimate. If you have dental insurance, we can provide a detailed quote for you to submit to your insurance provider. This helps you understand your out-of-pocket expenses before making a decision.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Porcelain veneers are usually referred to as “traditional” veneers. They are extremely durable and are virtually indistinguishable from a natural tooth to the naked eye. Because they are made up of porcelain, they are stain-resistant.

The choice of how many veneers to get is entirely yours. You might consider getting veneers only for the teeth that show prominently when you smile.

With proper service they can last up to 10-15 years.

Maintain your veneers just as you would your natural teeth. Brush them at least twice a day using a gentle toothpaste, floss daily, and use an antiseptic mouthwash once or twice a day. Steer clear of sugary or acidic foods and beverages after brushing, particularly before bedtime. Remember to schedule your regular dental cleanings and checkups every six months!
